EHS is an umbrella term for the laws, rules; guidance and processes designed to help protect employees, the public and the environment from harm. In the workplace, the responsibilities for designing and implementing appropriate procedures is often assigned to a specific department, EHS department is responsible for environmental protection, occupational health and safety at work. EHS management has two general objectives: prevention of incidents or accidents that might result from abnormal operating conditions and reduction of adverse effect that result from normal operating conditions. EHS Management is not limited to legal compliance and companies should be encouraged to do more than is required by law sustainability and productivity are the buzz words in the industry today. A sound Environment, Health and safety Practice is a prerequisite for organizations to be sustainable and scale new heights of productivity. Continuous improvement and implementation of best EHS practices is paramount to the success of modern day organization. The aim of the National EHS congress is to sensitize, facilitate, motivate and recognize corporates to adopt innovative practices in EHS.
The goal of the conference – aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Environment Health & Safety. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers.
The event is not for profit. The organization host events to promote an idea, a cause, or a project that is important to the organization and its target audience. Events can range from educational seminars and networking gatherings to celebrations and elaborate galas for fundraising.
